Happy Friday. While everyone's hunting for the next hyped golf brand, here's one that's been quietly excellent since 1927. Penfold has survived more than most brands will ever face and their quality proves it.

Brand Spotlight: Penfold Golf

Truly one of the wildest histories in the world of golf brands, Penfold Golf has been producing high quality golf goods for nearly 100 YEARS since its founding in 1927 in Birmingham, England by A.E. Penfold.

Since then, Penfold has survived a world war, a submarine attack, and Colgate-Palmolive ownership. Most heritage brands coast on their past. Penfold kept making better bags.

And while they don’t only make bags (of all shapes and sizes), that’s where they shine. Plenty of waxed canvas, minimal logos, and a classy option for any of your golf gear.

Our favorites:

Ryder Cup Shoe Bag

  • Heritage Show Bag → Keep your shoes from rolling around your trunk or collecting dust in your garage. Made from canvas and leather, can also store your personal items. Also available in Ryder Cup edition.

  • Sterling Script Linen Hat → Lightweight without being plastic, in a silky tan colorway that can match with most anything.

  • Heritage Club Duffel II → A waxed canvas duffel in style and grace to be used as a weekender or to and from your club.
