The PGA Tour season wrapped up, the first weekend of college football is in the books, fall is coming…get your vests ready.

This week’s issue is a random mix of the gear and products we like right now. No, we don’t get paid for highlighting any of these brands, we just like them and think you might too.

Matches never go out of style

Matchbooks bring a magical mix of nostalgia and refinement. Twist those with classic golf courses and great photography, and you’ve got one hell of a combo for your office backdrop.

Match South produces matchbook photography and accessories from your favorite university, restaurants/bars, hotels, and yes, golf course.

Golf Bag Matchstick Striker

What immediately drew our attention was the matchstick striker above but quickly became fond of some particular photos, including the golf pencils of Oakland Hills Country Club.

Their collection includes tons of your other favorites courses, show below.

We figure that between Match South and Par X Design (highlighted in newsletter #27), you’re bound to find something for the golf sicko in your life.

Speaking of vest season…

We should, and will, do a full newsletter on vests but wanted to highlight a new one we came across from Holderness & Bourne that looks ideal for the current climate - The Ventura.

The Ventura in Navy

H&B has been producing quality vests for a while but it’s nice to see a new lightweight option that can wear to the office and on the course without overheating. We can say with certainty there is a right way to wear a vest to the office and there is a wrong way. We can tell you a no-logo lightweight option like the Ventura is the right way indeed.

AnF x NFL

Abercrombie & Fitch (yes, they’re back) has teamed with the NFL to launch a new line of licensed team gear complete with the big-print faux-vintage logos that are massive right now. If you’re looking for some gear that doesn’t make you look like you travel with the team, give them a look at their website.

For the seltzer boiz

Jones Sports Co - Koozie

You know Jones Sports Co. only makes high quality goods, so why doesn’t your High Noon on the course deserve the same treatment? There are tons of slim can koozies on the market, but how many magnetically latch to your golf cart? We’re suckers for genius design, and this one got us good. Check them here.

Cover your noggin

It’s been a minute since we included a Poshmark find of the week in our newsletter but this seemed like the ideal time to bring one back. We recently spotted this Greyson patchwork rope hat and looks nothing like the douchey JT Greyson we’re used to seeing. The white snapback closure is a lovely touch. Peep it here and we bet you can grab this for under $30 if you play hardball.

Chunes…

Some uptempo from Tensnake to get your typing speed into hyperdrive this week.

Alright, team. Let’s go get ‘em!
