Old Balls
As office emails begin to bounce back with “OOO until the new year,” we wanted to turn our focus to the things that matter in this week’s edition - shoes, watches, and golf balls. Which got us thinking - what brands can you think of that make all 3? We could only came up with 1, answer at the bottom.
Greyson Clothiers & Saucony make a baby
The Saucony Shadow 5000 has been having a moment the past few years, and now Greyson Clothiers is putting their spin on it. While supposedly an alt golf shoe (“a golf shoe designed to be worn off the course” 🤔)with subtle increased traction on the bottom, we expect most folks to keep this off the course. With the wool houndstooth sides and overall dark colorway, it looks more like a shoe built for winter in the midwest, but we appreciate the effort. Definitely something unique and consistent with the Greyson aesthetic and some subtle symbols and icons are a nice touch.
Why won’t you let me die!
Golf Digest answers every golfer’s question during a rough round “How to know if an old golf ball is OK to play?”. Turns out most cosmetic issues less than the size of a dime are OK.
Omega releases new Speedmaster Pilot

Omega dropped one of the coolest watches recently with their Speedmaster Pilot. We all know the Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional but we love this as a more interesting alternative. It clocks in (pun intended) at a modest 40.85mm diameter so it won’t dominate your wrist or blind your neighbors, but if you’re looking for something more subtle and understated (and have $9500 lying around), check it out below.
What we’re listening to…
Apparently we are very late to the Teddy Swims game but this man has soul seeping out the wazoo. If you’re into a soulful country vibe, this bud Coors Light is for you!
What brand makes shoes, watches and golf balls?
NIKE!
