While some of us were waiting in lines at Disney World this past week, every golf influencer and their mom were on the other side of Orlando at the 2025 PGA Show. This is the golf world’s biggest convention with all the big (and little) brands setting up booths to show their latest and greatest. Most of what I did catch was through social media and it truly looked like everyone at this convention was talking into a camera trying to increase their subscriber count. But hey, at least they weren’t pushing a stroller in the rain.

Pretty wild the tech that professional sports team equipment managers use to understand if a wide receiver is ready for fresh cleats 😃 . I just assumed teams had so much money that players just used a fresh pair every game. Not so fast my friend.

If all the LIV drama didn’t have you thinking that golf is only about the money these days, this golf tee with 900 diamonds in it just might!

I saw a TON of posts from the 2025 PGA Show but most of it was ho-hum. The clothes all look basically the same, the shoes just come in new colors, and both old golf brands and non-golf brands are taking advantage of the golf boom. Pretty disappointing overall sentiment from what I could tell, just tons of influencers trying to hype-up minimal innovation. Figured this video above was at least a highlight of the truly unique (aside from the Liquid IV but for golf, pretty sure that’s not insane).
