Scottie’s New Shoes

Scottie rose to fame while rocking Tiger’s Nike Air Zoom TW20. It was a classy choice to match his classy game. But it was still odd to see the TW logo on the back of Scottie’s feet. Similar vibes to NBA players wearing Jordan shoes even while MJ was still in the league.

But earlier this year Scottie showed up in a mystery show that looked just close enough to his old shoe that most people didn’t notice on camera.

Enter Nike and Scottie’s new Victory Pro 4. 

It borrows lots of the same features as his Tiger shoes, but adds some extra support based on Scottie’s crazy footwork in his swing. They’re not yet available on Nike’s website ($150) but should be coming soon. Assuming is Nike is waiting for Scottie to just win his 3rd green jacket and the ride the marketing wave.

Shinola’s upgraded Duck Watch is available for a limited time and only in stores this week from April 9th to April 16th.

It’s an entry-level dive watch with some personality to set it apart from every other Submariner-wannabe. We like the rubber strap but might take an equally strong personality to pull off a yellow face. Unless, by chance, you are a duck.

1. Fred Martin Moc Toe Sneaker

We’ve seen a string of these new moc toe sneakers pop up in our feed lately. Seems like a nice shift from the classic Common Projects silhouette and the suede is a nice touch.

2. Nike Home Improvement Air Edge

Maybe the white whale for any hardcore Nike high-top collector. If you don’t wear these with a tucked-in button down a full toolbelt, you’re not doing it right.

Tee Up Kicks doing everything he can to make these actually come true. Sadly they’re just mockups for now. With Reebok bringing to life the Allen Iverson Question golf shoe 🤮 , this certainly could be coming soon.

One of the better takes on the popular court shoe but with the right amount of subtlety to set it apart. We love the off-white sole (they show dirt less) and the higher heel support in the back.
