Best Thing We Saw This Week
In the latest edition of INNOVATION BUT YOU CAN’T AFFORD IT, Wilson announced the release of their $2,500 3D printed basketball. Hoops influencers are foaming at the mouth to get their hands on and post pics with one of the hottest products in sports.
To be fair, early iterations of innovative products do come with a heavy price tag at the beginning (to pay for all those R&D costs) but eventually are priced to sell to the masses. Question is…Will this new ball fair better than the Spalding Infusion with the built-in pump?
Brand Highlight
This week we’re excited to highlight our favorite golf brand that really isn’t a golf brand - Sid Mashburn. For those who know the name Cashmere Keith, you are likely familiar with his Sea Pines preppy style and unmatched style on the links. While Keith himself is a stylish man at heart, it’s the Georgia-based Sid Mashburn that he can thank for this new threads.
Sid is a living legend in the world of menswear and his having quite a moment right now. After stints at Ralph Lauren and L.L. Bean, Sid and his wife Ann launched their own namesake stores in 2007 in Atlanta and have been getting well-deserved praise ever since.
It was only last year that Sid and Keith teamed up to create a line of Golf clothes that have people talking. If you see Keith on course, he might look warm and stuffy with his sweaters and knit pants, but it’s Sid’s master fabric knowledge that allow old-school looks that still breathe like synthetics.
Our two favorites in the Golf Shop are the Classic Crewneck Sweater and their Short-Sleeved Polo. Both are clean and simple designs but with modern touches around the collars and hems. With most companies using the same collar design in their polos forever, expect to see more cutaway collars this summer.
Check out Sid Mashburn and his golf shop HERE and the ladies shop Ann Mashburn for the lady in your life.

What we’re listening to right now
We know this song is getting a lot of buzz right now but we’ve been listening to a LOT of John Summit recently and his remix of Escape by Deadmau5 & Kaskade (Kx5) + Hayla has more edge and soul than the original.
That’s it.
